Flow Update #2 - Making things look nice
Worked a bit last night and didn't have much time today.
- I added a feature where player uses fuel to get from place to place.
- I worked more on aesthetic of the game. Made some environment sprites and some effects when driving to give more visuals on how fast you are going as well as which direction.
While playing although unintentional. I think I like the backdrop of being in some desert. Especially at night.
I am still trying to figure out the goal of the game while I was doing some aesthetics. I am wondering if I should make the game something like one of the following:
- Bennet Foddy
- A runner game (think helicopter)
- A relaxing taxi driver game where it's midnight and you pick up customers and drive them from place to place. Maybe they chat or it's multi parted. Not just point A to point B.
I think next session. I'll go ahead and implement point 3 unless something else strikes me.
